课程介绍：: This course aims to meet the needs of a growing and developing fitness industry. The degree is designed to encompass the knowledge and skills required for graduates to function at an advanced level within the industry. The knowledge and skills have been identified by members of the fitness industry professional associations, practicing fitness professionals, providers of current VET industry qualifications and academics with significant experience within the fitness industry. Students gain a substantial understanding of the knowledge-based that underpin the fitness industry. This includes study in the areas of human fitness management, health, health promotion, strategies and approaches for achieving high levels of the fitness in the general population and for special needs groups within the population. In addition, graduates gain a sound understanding of the science which underpins fitness and exercise in the areas of human anatomy, kinesiology, nutrition and physiology. In support of these areas is a range of identified professional. Graduates will be qualified to work in a range of fitness careers including: Fitness Facility Trainers, Qualified Personal Trainers, Managing Private Fitness Gyms, Corporate Fitness and Self-employed Personal Trainers.

国际学生入学要求：: Students must have completed a minimum NSW Higher School Certificate with an average of 65 per cent, or a minimum ATAR of 68, or equivalent International Baccalaureate; or a qualification from a recognized higher education institution; or a recognized TAFE or other recognized VET provider qualifications (either an associate diploma, diploma, advanced diploma or tertiary preparation certificate). They need to have completed at least one of the following criteria: at least one year full-time or equivalent in a degree course at an Australian university and satisfied entry requirements specified under formal articulation arrangements determined by Academic Board. Students may also possess a recognized overseas qualification and demonstrate proficiency in English. Additionally students are required to participate in an interview and achieve a satisfactory outcome. Students who have not completed an Australian educational qualification must provide proof of proficiency in English through: a record of satisfactory achievement in secondary/tertiary studies in which the language of instruction was in English; or a record of the attainment of an overall band score of 6.5 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), with a minimum of 6.0 in each band; or an equivalent record of English proficiency attainment in an English language test that is recognised by the College. (Scores older than two years are not accepted). An international applicant who has completed the International Baccalaureate and who has gained the diploma can be regarded as having met the college's minimum English requirements has met one of the following criteria: completion of two Languages A1 in English at Higher or Standard Level; completion of Language A2 English as a Group 2 subject at either Higher or Standard Level; completion of Language B English at Higher Level with Grade 4 or more or completion of Language B English at Standard Level with a Grade 5 or more.

It has an historical connection to the Swords Club and this connection has been maintained through the College emblem. ACPE was originally established as a physical education training institution for young women. The College today is co-educational and caters for graduates who are pursuing a variety of sports careers, offering a full degree program in sports education with access to world class sporting facilities and using the latest teaching techniques. ACPE graduates can be found working throughout Australia and in many other countries. Graduates are working in a wide variety of positions in sports related fields including: As teachers government and independent schools; As officers in government departments of sport and recreation; In local government recreation centers and in private fitness clubs; As coaches and/or trainers of sporting teams, associations and clubs; and in sport management, sport marketing and event management companies. The College campus is located in the geographical heart of Sydney at Sydney Olympic Park, home of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. Its location ensures that all students have access to transport facilities and exceptional sporting resources such as the Sydney International Tennis Center, the Sydney International Athletics Track and the Sydney International Aquatic Center.

住宿信息：: Students in Sydney will live locally with family, use home stay or rent share accommodation. Home stay accommodation costs around AU$135 - AU$185 per week on average. If students plan to rent in Sydney, make sure they allow for a rental bond equal to four to six weeks rent. Weekly rental costs vary with location and quality. Rental rates may range from AU$100 to AU$250 per week. Students will also find hostel accommodation from AU$100 to AU$200 per week.
