The Canberra Institute of Technology based at Canberra provides vocational education to more than 19,000 students aged between 16 and 70. It operates out of five campuses (Reid, Bruce, Southside, Weston and Fyshwick) and two Flexible Learning Centres (Tuggeranong and Southside). Over 400 courses ranging from certificate level, to associate degrees and postgraduate are available. Some of the courses offered are in the fields of arts, design, media production, computer, forensics, networking, software development, communications, engineering, graphic design, fashion, tourism, hospitality and care work.
