Agnes Scott College, founded in 1889, is an independent national liberal arts college for women located in the metropolitan Atlanta area, affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA). There are 910 students currently studying at the university. The university offers 33 undergraduate majors and 26 minors, plus pre-professional programs in law, medicine and health; and dual-degree programs in nursing, architecture and engineering. In addition, students can earn Master of Arts in Teaching degree in biology, chemistry, English, mathematics or physics or enroll in Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical program.
