Occidental college or Oxy is a private college that was founded in 1887. It is located in Los Angeles, California and enrolls more than 1,850 students. Thirty majors are offered by 30 departments with programs in the areas of Arts & Humanities, Social Sciences, Sciences, Interdepartmental Majors and Academic Minors. Besides, other programs like English Writing, Core Programs and Environmental Programs are also offered by the college.
